Last year they launched Digital Wellbeing with Dashboards, App Timers, Flip to Shush, and Wind Down mode. This year, over a dozen Android device makers are launching 5G-ready devices, and more than 20 carriers will launch 5G networks around the world, with some already broad-scale. For each device youll find specs and links to the manufacturers dedicated site for downloads, support, and to report issues. For even broader testing on supported devices, you can also get Android GSI images, and if you don’t have a device you can test on the Android Emulator -- just download the latest emulator system images via the SDK Manager in Android Studio. For device makers, carriers, and enterprises, the benefits are also huge, since they can optimize and secure key parts of the OS without the cost of a full system update. So how do you as a user or app developer get Beta 3?Its easy! Just enroll any Pixel device here to get the update over-the-air.Another important change is restricting app launches from the background, which prevents apps from unexpectedly jumping into the foreground and taking over focus.

And once the economy improves, money circulation will also improve and funds will flow into bank deposits. They would do that this time around, too.Says Krishnan Sitaraman, senior director, CRISIL Ratings, "Lower deposit growth has meant a steady rise in the credit to deposit ratio (C/D Ratio) on a stock basis, which is expected to touch 78 per cent by the end of fiscal 2019, compared with 73 per cent at the end of fiscal 2017. So I don’t see any challenge in meeting any fresh credit demand whenever it comes.A senior public sector bank chairman told FC, "Currently most public sector banks have a credit to deposit ratio (C/D Ratio) of 65 to 70 per cent barring a few banks such as State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank that have a CD ratio of more than 75 per cent. Besides the RBI has been reducing the statutory liquidity ratio (SLR) every quarter which too is providing additional liquidity to the banks.Deposit growth has been declining over the past decade, and particularly in the past three years when it saw a significant drop as interest rates offered on fixed deposits dipped below the returns on other financial investment avenues.""However there is no appreciable credit demand for new projects in the last two years and is expected to happen only when the real economy grows," added the banker.
Private banks with strong balance sheets and robust credit growth are expected to lead the race for deposits and will account for 55-60 per cent of the incremental deposit mobilisation.Traditionally, banks have utilised their excess SLR in the initial period of credit revival.Bank credit in India would grow at a pacy 13-14 per cent on average between fiscals 2019 and 2020, significantly faster compared with the 8 per cent witnessed in fiscal 2018.Currently, the average annual deposit mobilisation is around Rs 7 lakh crore over the past few years. These banks have surplus funds to meet any fresh credit demand. These would be followed by public sector banks outside the RBI’s prompt corrective action framework with 30-35 per cent. That said, bulk of the credit demand would be met by deposit growth and to a minor extent by other resource raising options like infrastructure bonds said the rating agency.
With bank credit likely to pick up a faster pace in the coming months, banks would be forced to https://www.kio-tech.com change their deposit mobilisation over the medium term."Private banks have already gained 7 per cent market share in deposits over the past five years to touch 30 per cent and are well poised to gain further backed by superior technology, service levels and ability to acquire customers. While Rs 5-6 lakh crore is expected to become available through the release of statutory liquidity ratio (SLR) funds (as central bank plans to reduce SLR to 18 per cent by 2020) around Rs 20 lakh crore would need to be raised through fresh deposits. Banks will need to raise at least Rs 19-20 lakh crore of fresh deposits until March 2020 to keep the credit-deposit ratio near 80 per cent, which in itself would be highest in a decade. To meet this credit growth, banks will have to raise about Rs 25 lakh crore over the two fiscals. That diverted the flow of household financial savings away from banks. Meanwhile, increasing volatility in the equity market, moderating flows into other investment avenues, and hike in bank deposit rates in recent months could bring some household financial savings back into bank deposits.

NASA said its Insight mission to Mars will measure the red planets temperature for the first time to decode how the massive mountains on the Martian surface formed.Mars has some of the tallest mountains in the solar system. They include Olympus Mons, a volcano nearly three times the height of Mount Everest, NASA said in a statement. The mountain borders a region called the Tharsis plateau, where three equally awe-inspiring volcanoes dominate the landscape.NASA and DLR (German Aerospace Center) plan to take the planets temperature for the first time ever, measuring how heat flows out of https://www.kio-tech.com the planet and drives this inspiring geology.
Detecting this escaping heat will be a crucial part of the InSight mission, managed by NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).Insight, which is scheduled to land on Mars on November 26, will be the first mission to study its deep interior. The probe will use its Heat Flow and Physical Properties Package (HP3) instrument to measure heat as it is conducted from the interior to the planets surface, NASA said. This energy was in part captured when Mars formed more than four billion years ago, preserving a record of its creation. That energy is also due to the decay of radioactive elements in the rocky interior. The way heat moves through a planets mantle and crust determines what surface features it will have, said JPLs Sue Smrekar, the missions deputy principal investigator."Most of the planets geology is a result of heat," Smrekar said.
"Volcanic eruptions in the ancient past were driven by the flow of this heat, pushing up and constructing the towering mountains Mars is famous for," said Smrekar. While scientists have modelled the interior structure of Mars, InSight will provide the first opportunity to find the ground truth -- by literally looking below the ground. A probe called a mole will pummel the ground, burying itself and dragging a tether behind it. Temperature sensors embedded in this tether will measure the natural internal heat of Mars.Click on Deccan Chronicle Technology and Science for the latest news and reviews. New Delhi : According to statistics, about six million people die of tobacco use or exposure to secondhand smoke. This accounts for six percent of female and 12% of male deaths worldwide every year.Estimates also indicate that by the year 2030, tobacco-related deaths are likely to increase to more than eight million a year around the world. Exposure to the harmful chemicals in tobacco can also occur through second hand smoking or passive smoking, which is an equally serious health hazard. Non-smokers who live with and around smokers stand a 30% higher risk of developing heart diseases.Second-hand smoke is harmful to children and babies as well and can exacerbate the onset of sudden unexplained death in infants (SUDI), bronchitis, pneumonia, and asthma.
Breathing secondhand smoke can have immediate adverse effects on your blood and blood vessels, increasing the risk of having a heart attack.Speaking about this, Dr TS Kler, Chairman, Pushpawati Singhania Heart Institute, New Delhi said, "Passive smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke is a hidden risk factor for heart disease and needs more awareness and attention. Breathing secondhand smoke can cause the cells in your blood that are responsible for clotting (platelets) to become stickier, making your blood more likely to clot. This can cause a clot to form that may block an artery, causing a heart attack or stroke. People who already have heart disease or are at a high risk of suffering adverse effects from breathing secondhand smoke should take special precautions to avoid exposure even for a brief period."Burning a cigarette produces carbon monoxide (CO). Red blood cells can absorb CO faster than oxygen. This CO binds to blood cells which are meant to carry oxygen and thus, the heart has to work harder to carry out its functions normally, straining itself in the process.Adding further, Dr Kler said, "Mainstream smoke contains more than 4000 chemicals, including chemical irritants and about 70 carcinogens.
Side stream is also dangerous because while it has a composition similar to mainstream smoke, the concentration of toxins and carcinogens is often higher. Homes and vehicles are the main places of exposure forhttps://www.kio-tech.com children. For adults, it is their work place or social environments."For those with severe buildup of plaque in the arteries, the doctor may recommend coronary angioplasty or CABG (coronary artery bypass grafting). CABG can improve blood flow to your heart, relieve chest pain, and possibly prevent a heart attack. Stents can help keep coronary arteries open and reduce the chance of a heart attack. A stent is inserted into the clogged artery with a balloon catheter. The balloon is inflated and the stent expands and locks in place. This holds the artery open and allows blood to flow more freely. Here are some ways to avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.* Dont allow people to smoke in your home. Smoke can linger in the air for hours after. Ask guests politely to smoke outside.* Dont allow smoking in the car.* Visit hotels, restaurants, etc. that have a 100% smoke-free environment. Even with a designated "smoking" area, smoke can make its way around through the air and ventilation system.* Make sure the places where your child spends time, such as daycare, school, or after-school, do not encourage smoking. Ask caregivers and relatives never to smoke around children.* Lastly, if you smoke, quit right away to ensure good health for you and those around you.
